Vignette® Roman Shades

With traditional Roman shades when the shade is drawn up the material folds upon itself horizontally until it comes to rest at the top of the window frame in even stacks. With modern rolling Roman shades, the fabric is rolled not stacked at the top. This design allows the fabric to be contained into a much smaller space, and in fact the fabric Roman shade can roll completely into the headrail

For clients with children and/or pets at home, rolling style Roman shades can operate with no exposed cords, strings or hanging pull tabs that can pose a strangulation or choking hazard. They are kid-friendly cordless roman shades that are as chic as they are safe. They are also available in a range of fabrics, many of which have been designed to be easy to clean - another kid-friendly benefit of Vignette® Modern Roman Shades.

Besides synthetic fabrics designed to be easy to clean and durable, Vignette® Roman Shades are also available in a variety of high-quality fabrics including linens, tweeds, silks, and natural weaves. Fabrics for Roman Blinds can be sheer, light-filtering, or room-darkening.

For rolling style fabric Roman shades with a 6” flat fold, there is the additional option of Vignette Duolite® Shades. Duolite® shades feature two layers of fabric (a front, decorative layer made of light-filtering or sheer material and a back layer with darkening or black out panels) both on a single roller. This innovative design allows for less mounting depth than similar shades that need a two-roller system to achieve the same levels of light and privacy control.
